Opera password/wand recovery tool

I would like to share with you methods / software to reterive lost wand passwords.
Since opera doesnot matively show passwords, its difficult for the user to reterive it when formatting his system or when changing to a different browser.

1. Opera password Decryptor v 1.0

This is simple to use password decryptor.Just enter the path for wand.dat which is stored in the profile folder and just click the 'Start Recovery' button to reterive passwords. The passwords are not shown until 'Show passwords' is clicked which is add as a security measure.

  • You can also save the passwords to an html or text file using the 'save as html  or save as text' button at the bottom.
  • Its Portable , run the executable file.
  • Cannot decrypt when protected with master password. remove the password and use the software.

Mozilla is planning some major UI overhauls for their next major release of Firefox. The new theme is designed to reflect a modernized web browser to illustrate its “power, simplicity, and customizability.” The design team has outlined 4 main goals for the refresh:
  • Streamline UI elements and reduce visual footprint
  • Modernize look and feel
  • Retain visual integration
  • Maintain cross-platform consistency (Where applicable)
While the new theme has been revealed progressively, it is still a work in progress and the team is constantly making new adjustments and additions. A new timeline has been posted at the project homepage to see that the new changes get the proper amount of attention for implementation. Stephen Horlander, a Visual Designer with the Firefox team, has posted screenshots of the new concepts that they are working on.

Opera 10.51 Released: The fastest Browser on Earth

Opera combines both speed , agility(rendering speed) and extension(built-in features) in one application. Opera has been always light on resources and speed matches none, apart from these UI has always fascinated me.I have used opera as my primary browser since 9.x to 10.10 version. But lack of extension forced me to switch.

Pros:

  • Speed Dial is fast, responsive and does not slow the browser.
  • Secure Login is so awesome.
  • Can change skins on the fly(later copied by many).
  • Has so customization option that no other can provide to this day.
  • Visual tab.
  • Opera Link(One of the main i switched to opera).
  • Low memory usage and fast.(one of the main reason i switched to opera).
